Lotus Make-Up India Fashion Week AW’19 Will Begin on March 13

The dates of the bi-annual fashion event Lotus Make-up India Fashion Week (LMIFW) Autumn Winter 2019 have been announced by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI). The event will be of five days which will be conducted at the capital of the country which is New Delhi On March 13, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

The president of the apex of fashion body of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), Sunil Sethi said, ‘We are happy to continue our relationship with Lotus Make-up as our title sponsor, after establishing a discernible synergy with this effective collaboration. This year, the show will bring in a fresh perspective to the fast-changing dynamics of fashion with consumers looking at it as a powerful vehicle of self-expression. FDCI is forging ahead to take fashion on a greener path with a generation of new-age eco-warriors. We believe, sustainability and conscious consumption is the need of the hour.’

Rajeev Gopal who is the global chief sales and marketing officer at the Birla Cellulose quoted, ‘Sustainability is a continuous journey towards the well-being of all stakeholders and conserving nature. We have taken this step of associating with FDCI to support responsible fashion across the value chain.’

The last day of the event which continues for almost five days will be dedicated to the Pearl Academy. For people who are into fashion a lot, will have a great experience witnessing the great designs of all time. Lotus Makeup has previously also partnered with them and the results were quite great. So, it is obvious that the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) decided to go for it again.

The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) will also partner with Aditya Birla Group’s Liva for their upcoming edition with the Lotus Makeup India Fashion Week (LMIFW) which will showcase the attires for autumn and winter of the year 2019. The trends are surely going to be amazing and spectacular like they were the last time. What different that is going to be done here is that the fabric which is going to be used will be eco-friendly which is a plus point. A social message will be conveyed through this and people will become more aware towards ecosystem and its sustainability. The message of sustainability is the main focus in this five-day event.

Sustainable fabric Liva is the major sponsor in this genre for the Lotus Makeup India Fashion Week. This brand is associated with quite a few main names in the industry like Lycra, H & M, Zara, Madura Fashion, Lifestyle, Spandex, Fashion Big Bazaar, and also many more names.

For the edition which was conducted in the year 2017, the tie-up of the FDCI was first with Amazon which is a globe e-commerce player. However, this tie-up was broken due to some reasons. The new tie-up which was announced was with Lotus Makeup India which is also a part of the Lotus Herbals.
